The PSUT Venture Lab is a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship, empowering students, alumni, faculty, and staff to transform ideas into successful, tech-driven startups. Through structured mentorship, hands-on training, and access to funding, we support aspiring entrepreneurs on their journey from concept to market-ready venture.
The programme includes an intensive bootcamp delivered by the Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship (QRCE) and leading industry experts, along with weekly guidance from the Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) Office. The programme is managed by PSUT's Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure structured progress and measurable outcomes.
The programme offers funding up to 10,000 JOD per project, with up to 10 projects selected annually.
What do we offer?
Seed Funding
Up to 10,000 JOD per project to support early-stage development.
EIR Mentorship
Weekly 1:1 guidance from the Entrepreneur-in-Residence Office.
Project Management
Structured progress tracking and accountability via PSUT's Project Management Office.
QRCE Bootcamps
25-hour intensive training delivered by the Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship and industry experts.
Structured Incubation
Six months of accelerated support with access to iPark and ecosystem partners.
The Entrepreneurial Journey
Six phases from idea to recognised, business-ready startup.
Application
Apply as an individual or as a team. Submissions are reviewed for basic eligibility and seriousness.
EIR Assessment
Two to three sessions with the Entrepreneur in Residence to assess readiness, mindset, and ability to handle execution.
QRCE Bootcamp
A 25-hour intensive bootcamp testing discipline, learning ability, and commitment. Minimum 4 of 5 sessions required to advance.
Panel Interview & Presentation
Evaluation by a panel of experienced professionals. Teams present and are interviewed on progress, founder mindset, and business potential.
Incubation Programme
Six months of building with funding, coaching, and structured support. Monthly Venture Lab meetings and 1:1 sessions with the EIR or QRCE experts.
Business Readiness & Recognition
Teams are recognised as business-ready, prepared for official registration, and eligible for the QRCE National Competition and broader ecosystem partnerships.
